Default Terry Fox Run

I walked in the Terry Fox Run to help raise money for a cure for cancer today ^.^

It was a 5 KM course and I stopped only once to get my picture taken for the year book this year, Which is pretty darn good considering the fact I'm physically disabled.

Alot of able-bodied people left early. So guess what, I beat them!

Has anyone else her participated?

I walked in the Komen Foundation Walk for the Cure last year in Houston (a TON of people did it, somewhere in the 5 digit area). I think that it is great that so many people do things like this.

In addition, I also bike in the MS 150 each year (for multiple sclerosis).

I would donate blood but they don't take blood for girls that weigh 115 pounds.

In the Komen "Run", you can actually choose to run/walk 5k or run/walk 1k. I am more of the "Amble for a Cure" type and do the 1k. 'Course last year I was in the middle of chemo so that was just right. This year, I might have to stretch myself to 5k.
